I love Star Wars’ Super Star Destroyer. It’s so comically large you can imagine that, under the gaze of Darth Vader, its engineers were just too afraid to stop building. Now, you can preserve its oversized glory with this mid-sized Lego Star Wars set, down to just $40 at Walmart.
What’s especially cool is that, while there are no minifigures included, you do get a pair of smaller Star Destroyers. Attached via a transparent piece of Lego, they help lend the ship a real sense of scale. It features a removable stand, as well as an anniversary block, though I removed that because it felt a little out of place.
This Lego Star Wars Super Star Destroyer Executor set is a joy to build and look at, once it’s perched on your shelf. There are several other mid-sized ships included in the range, some of which make our best Lego Star Wars sets list. In short, it’s a superb Cyber Monday Lego deal, one which you won’t regret taking advantage of.
