In our DJI Mini 4K review, we awarded the drone five out of five stars, and said: “If you’re a beginner, the DJI Mini 4K offers everything you could possibly need in a drone while providing ease of use and reliability.”
A fully charged battery will give the drone around 25 minutes of flight time, so with the Combo packs, the additional batteries allow you can double or triple that, depending on which option you go for. When the battery starts to run low on power, the DJI Mini 4K will guide itself back towards the controller so it doesn’t go MIA.
With a 1/2.3-inch 12MP CMOS sensor and 4K/30fps (or 60fps at 1080p) video capture, the Mini 4K is ideal for capturing decent aerial shots. The controller doesn’t have a screen, but you can clip in your mobile phone and use it to monitor what the DJI Mini 4K’s camera is seeing.
